Taiwan celebrity taken by police after military service evasion allegation

A member of Taiwanese boyband group Lollipop, also known as Bang Bang Tang, was taken away by local police for investigations after he allegedly evaded military conscription.
Prince Chiu, all called Chiu Shengyi, was taken from his home in Nangang, the southeastern district in Taipei, this morning.
Chiu is the latest among multiple Taiwanese celebrities who are caught up in military service evasion allegations. Last year, fellow Lollipop member William Liao and singer Nine Chen are among the several celebrities who pleaded guilty to having evaded conscription.
