Huanggang port new building to be completed

Secretary for Security Chris Tang said the construction of the new Huanggang Port building is basically complete, with the opening date yet to be confirmed.

At the Panel on Security meeting, Tang stated that the new Huanggang Port implements a joint inspection and clearance between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with 134 self-service channels and 68 counters, and includes facial recognition. Vehicle clearance will also be faster.
