Officials in Islamabad said Iran has received an American 15-point plan for a ceasefire for the Middle East war through intermediaries from Pakistan. The reported proposal was sent even as Washington began to move paratroopers to the Middle East to back up a contingent of Marines already heading there with the conflict in the region raging on. Officials in Islamabad said Iran has received an American 15-point plan for a ceasefire for the Middle East war through intermediaries from Pakistan. The Pakistani officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, described the 15-point plan broadly as touching on sanctions relief, civilian nuclear cooperation, a rollback of Iran's nuclear program, monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency, missile limits and access for shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump claimed he got a present from Iran "worth a tremendous amount of money," telling reporters it revealed to him his administration is "talking to the right people." US President DONALD TRUMP: "They're going make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing, actually. They gave us a present. And the present arrived today. It was a very big present, worth a tremendous amount of money and I'm not going to tell you what that present is, but it was a very significant prize and they gave it to us and they said they were going to give it. So that meant one thing to me: we're dealing with the right people." But Iran's main military command responded by saying that "someone like us will never come to terms with someone like you, not now, not ever." The reported proposal was sent even as Washington began to move paratroopers to the Middle East to back up a contingent of Marines already heading there with the conflict in the region raging on. Israeli military spokesman, Brigadier General Effie Defrin said Iran fired dozens of missiles on Israel in the war's first and second days but the number "dropped quickly" as a result of continued Israeli strikes on military headquarters, launch sites and missile production sites across Iran. He said the number of launches decreased very quickly and the average is roughly about 10 missiles per day. The Iranian Red Crescent posted footage on its social media showing a survivor being rescued from under the rubble of a strike-hit building in Tehran. In another video, teams were seen searching for survivors and casualties inside a damaged house. The Red Crescent said the US-Israeli-strike targeted a residential area in the outskirts of the Iranian capital. The Red Crescent added the strike completely destroyed a residential building and damaged four adjacent buildings.
