Apple Daily building searched by police

The three Apple Daily-affiliated companies were struck off from the Companies Register and listed as prohibited organisations yesterday.
Today, the Next Digital building in Tseung Kwan O was searched by police.
At about 2 p.m., national security department officers entered the building and stayed there for more than two hours.
It is understood that authorities are looking into possibilities to confiscate the assets of Next Digital founder Jimmy Lai who has been sentenced to 20-year prison terms for conspiracy to collude with foreign forces.
