HK locked in 5-year deal with Art Basel

Hong Kong has locked in a five-year agreement with Art Basel to remain the fair's exclusive host in the region.
Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rosanna Law says the deal highlights the city's unique status and organisers are looking to scale up the fair and introduce new formats to draw collectors and art lovers from around the world.
Law also underscores Art Basel's strong performance over the past two years with increased attendance from 80,400 in 2024 to 86,500 last year.
