Housing Authority to remove collapsed tower crane at Kwai Chung construction site today

The Housing Department expects to completely remove by today the tower crane which collapsed in Kwai Chung last Thursday.

The HD's engineering team and contractors used large cranes to lift its debris, preparing to remove it.

Tai Wo Hau Road, where the accident occurred, remains closed.

Last Thursday, at the construction site under public housing development on Tai Wo Hau Road in Kwai Chung, a tower crane collapsed, killing a 62-year-old operator.
