Air Canada regional jet strikes fire truck at New York's LaGuardia airport

In New York's LaGuardia Airport, an Air Canada regional jet struck a fire truck on the runway after landing late Sunday night, crushing the nose of the plane, and killing two people.
Two Port Authority employees who were traveling in the fire truck also were injured.
The airport was ordered closed until 2 p.m. Monday to facilitate investigation.
There were 72 passengers and four crew aboard the aircraft, which is a Jazz Aviation flight operating on behalf of Air Canada. The flight originated from Montreal.
