Five arrested involved in robbery of gold bars

Police arrested four men and one woman who were involved in a robbery of gold bars in Hung Hom yesterday. All stolen gold bars were retrieved.
The 73 pieces of one-kilogram gold bars worth around 93 million dollars were recovered.
The robbery took place at about 2 p.m. yesterday, when a female employer of the gold exchange office was conducting a transaction with a buyer.
She asked two security guards to leave for the sake of privacy.
All of a sudden, two men and a woman burst in the office and took 73 gold bars, together with the buyer.
They escaped in two waiting private cars. The police arrested the suspects who remain in custody.
