A man reported being tricked out of 73 kilograms of gold bars, worth 95 million dollars, in Hung Hom.

Police officers and detectives arrived at the North Lantau Highway to investigate the case.

A private car suspected to have been used by the fraudsters was found at the scene.

Some detectives were on guard with shields.

The incident occurred at approximately 3 pm. 

Police received a report from a shop on Chung On Street in Hung Hom, saying that the caller witnessed a burglary at a nearby office building where 73 gold bars, each weighing 1 kilogram, were stolen and the thefts fled in a private car. 

Police intercepted the vehicle on North Lantau Highway towards the airport. 

No arrests have been made so far.
