Parents to appear in court for child neglect connected to Super Typhoon Ragasa

A couple who is charged with child neglect, after allegedly bringing their son to watch waves in Chai Wan during Super Typhoon Ragasa last year, will appear at Eastern Magistrates' Courts on Tuesday.
On the day of the incident, a large wave swept the mother and the five-year-old son into the sea. The father jumped into the sea trying to rescue the two. Their daughter was left on the shore.
Police arrested the parents in January.
