U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened further strikes on Iran's Kharg Island oil export hub and urged allies to deploy warships to secure the Strait of Hormuz.

With the U.S-Israel war on Iran in its third week Trump said U.S. strikes had totally demolished much of the island and warned of more to come.

This as India said two of its ships carrying liquefied petroleum gas have crossed the Strait.

Sirens sounding across Jerusalem. Followed by a series of explosions. Explosions also across Tel Aviv.

Several air alert sirens went off throughout Saturday in central Israel as multiple launches from Iran were identified.

Loud explosions heard from impacts and interceptions in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

This as U.S. forces released a video this weekend showing them destroying targets on the ground which it claims were in Kharg Island Iran.

On X social media platform U.S. Central Command said the strike destroyed naval mine storage facilities, missile storage bunkers and multiple other military sites.

Adding, they successfully struck more than 90 Iranian military targets on Kharg Island while preserving the oil infrastructure.

India said Saturday that two of its ships carrying liquefied petroleum gas have crossed the Strait of Hormuz.

Randhir Jaiswal, Indian external affairs spokesperson said: "Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) has spoken to his counterparts in the region. In the last few days, External Affairs Minister (Subrahmanyam Jaishankar) and our embassies have also been in close touch with their interlocutors. In the process, the concerns of other key actors such as shipping lines et cetera have also had to be addressed. As a result of these multiple contacts, with all concerned, some ships destined for India have been able to cross through the Straits of Hormuz."

Trump has called for countries including the U.K. to send warships to help protect the Strait of Hormuz. The Defense Ministry said Saturday: "We are currently discussing with our allies and partners a range of options to ensure the security of shipping in the region.
