21 people injured in four car pile-up in Yuen Long

At least 21 people suffered mild injuries after being involved in a four-car pile-up near the Pok Oi Roundabout on the Yuen Long Highway, resulting in a traffic jam stretching several kilometres to the San Tin Highway.
The accident involved two buses, a private car and a truck.
The vehicles were heading towards the Tuen Mun direction at the time of the crash.
Two of the buses suffered extensive damages including cracked windshields, while the exterior of the private car was also damaged.
Several of the injured were waiting for treatment on the side of the road, with some individuals requiring a neck brace before they were brought onto ambulances via stretchers.
The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. when four vehicles were departing from the Pok Oi Roundabout.
The leading truck suddenly slowed down with the three following vehicles subsequently crashing into it after failing to brake in time.
Kowloon Motor Bus said the affected buses were travelling on the 276B and 269B routes, with 18 passengers and one driver injured in the process.
