A Michigan synagogue attacked, suspect was killed

Two attacks in the U.S. 700 miles apart are both being investigated as possible terror attacks.

They come as the war with Iran raging on amid fears of retaliation in the U.S.

It is not immediately known if there is any connection between a deadly shooting at a Virginia university and an attack on a Michigan synagogue where the suspect died. NBC News has more.
