The U.S. customs agency is setting up a system to process refunds on U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs that were struck down as illegal. The mechanism needs to be ready within 45 days. According to Reuters, the refund would amount to $166 billion U.S. dollars for around 330,000 importers. Last month, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the tariffs which was seen as unconstitutional, but was a central part of Trump's economic policy. Customs agency said in a filing with the Court of International Trade that the new process will require minimal submission from importers. Those suing for refund included FedEx, L'Oreal and CVS.
