Beijing sets economic growth goal of 4.5 to 5 percent

The central government's work report has set an economic growth target of 4.5 to 5 percent growth for this year.
The National Development and Reform Commission said it aims to realise this goal by increasing effectiveness in economic management, strengthening the industrial modernisation and boosting consumption.
Beijing also believes the GDP will increase by over 6 trillion yuan.
