Iran has relied on its arsenal of missiles and drones to counter the attack by the Americans and Israelis.
Some analysts say the war's duration and result could be determined by which side having the most precision-guided weapons in stock.
Analysts are not certain how many of these weapons Iran own, and they see less frequent missiles and drones attack against Israel in the past day or so.
They speculate that Iran may be seeking to preserve its reserves of missiles, or is unable to fire more.
However, some note the fact that the Iranian drones cost only 30,000 US dollars each,
while each Patriot missile used to defend against them cost nearly 4 million US dollars.
The cost gap may lead to a drain of financial and logistical resources which could reshape the conflict.
