At least 2 people were killed, and 7 others injured in a shooting during an apparent fight in the US city of Richmond, Virginia. Local police said a man and a woman died at the scene.
A police officer saw a large commotion with cars speeding away, and found the man and woman who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Another three men and four women were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
A local TV station reported that several family members had gathered for a birthday celebration in the Shockoe Bottom district when the shooting took place.
