The Lunar New Year public holidays, together with the weekend, are coming to an end, and the Immigration Department expects today to be the peak day for inbound arrivals. As of 10 a.m., 115,000 people had already entered Hong Kong. Among them, the largest number entered via the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge control point. At the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, the arrivals hall was already crowded this morning. Many people were pulling suitcases of all sizes. Some residents deliberately returned to Hong Kong half a day early to avoid the rush. Meanwhile, the Mainland’s Lunar New Year “Golden Week” is also about to end. Some visitors are taking the opportunity to come to Hong Kong and enjoy the last part of the holiday.
