The U.S. Supreme Court has struck down President Donald Trump's global tariffs, striking a blow to Trump's economic agenda. The high court ruled 6 to 3 that Trump erred when he imposed the tariffs under an emergency powers law.
Trump lashed out at the high court, saying he was "ashamed" of the justices who ruled against him. Trump said he'll impose a global 10 percent tariff, one restricted to 150 days, as an alternative.
Authorities will probe whether criminal negligence played a role in this week's deadly avalanche in California that killed at least eight people.
Officials flew over the avalanche site Friday, trying to determine if it's safe to retrieve the bodies. (Feb 20)
