Devastating floods continue to hit southwestern parts of France after 36 consecutive days of heavy rain.
Many villages remain isolated amidst the floodwaters and some homes are still without electricity.
The Garonne and Loire rivers reached record levels on Thursday because of the ongoing exceptional flooding affecting part of the country.
Five departments were still under red alert on Friday.
