U.S. President Donald Trump said the arrest of former Prince Andrew on suspicion of misconduct related to his ties to Jeffrey Epstein is a shame and "so bad for the royal family." Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, U.S. President Donald Trump said the arrest of the former Prince Andrew is bad for the royal family. When asked if arrests could also be made in the U.S. he was quick to say he had been exonerated. "Well you know, I'm the expert because I've been totally exonerated. That's very nice. So I can actually speak about it very nicely. I think it's a shame. I think it's very sad. I think it's so bad for the royal family. It is really interesting because nobody used to speak about Epstein when he was alive, but now they speak. But I am the one that can talk about him because I have been totally exonerated. I did nothing, in fact I did the opposite. He was against me, he was fighting me in the election - which I just found out in the last three million pages of documents,"Trump said. Amy Wallace, the co-author of Virginia Giuffre's memoir said that the U.K. had led the way in its response to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Giuffre claimed she was trafficked to Britain to have sex with the former Prince Andrew in 2001 at age 17. Giuffre died by suicide last year. Amy Wallace, co-author of Nobody's Girl said: "They haven't even interviewed people on this side of the pond. They haven't even gone after the people who have been named. And so, yes, there's a lot unfolding here, but I think for anyone who cared about Virginia or any victim of sexual abuse of any kind, whether it was Epstein, Maxwell, or someone else, watching the testimony of these women be disregarded, ignored, and not acted upon by government officials who are suppose to uphold the law is an embarrassment. The UK has led the way. France is getting behind it.Norway is doing it. United States, not so far."
