The Pallas's cat, a Class II protected animal in China, is a small carnivore unique to the plateau.
It possesses the densest fur among felines, enabling it to withstand temperatures as low as tens of degrees below zero Celsius. Recently, they were spotted in Ganzihe Township, Qinghai Province.
