An official website under the People's Liberation Army criticises multiple Japanese cartoons, calling for vigilance against Japanese militarism infiltration.

The PLA's News Communication Centre uploaded AI-generated videos and published articles on social media.

It mentioned a recent incident involving "Pokemon", where an event was planned at Yasukuni Shrine, which honours Class A war criminals from World War II.

It also pointed out recent collaborations involving "Detective Conan" and "My Hero Academia," are reminders that Japanese militarism still lingers in the cultural and sports sectors.

It further stated that Japanese right-wing forces, through entertainment idols and anime games that young people frequently engage with, propagate a distorted and beautified fictional history.

The aim is to fundamentally cut off the intergenerational transmission of true historical memory, laying the ideological groundwork for the revival of militarism.
