Police Commissioner Joe Chow wraps up Bangkok visit, thanks Thai authorities for assisting cases

Police Commissioner Joe Chow has concluded a three-day visit to Bangkok, during which he met with senior Thai officials and thanked them for assisting with two major Hong Kong cases.
During the visit, Chow paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police Kittharath Punpetch. They exchanged views on issues of mutual concern and discussed ways to enhance police cooperation and intel sharing between the two places.
Chow also expressed gratitude to the Thai authorities for their assistance in arresting and deporting the alleged mastermind of the Lung Ha Wan murder case -- which had been on the run for 37 years, as well as a suspect who fled to Thailand after committing a robbery in Hong Kong in June last year.
The Commissioner also visited Thailand's Anti-Cyber Scam Centre and the Police Education Bureau.
