The Lam Tsuen Well-Wishing Festival in Tai Po will be held from the first day of the Lunar New Year, February 17, to the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, March 3. The Lam Tsuen Wishing Plaza will be open from 9 am to 7 pm on the first day, eighth day, and fifteenth day of the Lunar New Year, and from 9 am to 9 pm from the second day to the sixth day. In addition to experiencing the traditional tossing of lucky charms, visitors can also enjoy a Lunar New Year market with stalls selling dried goods, food, and games. To celebrate the Year of the Horse, the Hong Kong Jockey Club has loaned two life-size horse models and a triumphal arch installation for display, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of "lead he winning horse." The market will also feature a giant oil painting of a champion horse and a giant panda mural for visitors to take photos. KMB will add a 63R express bus service between Tai Wo MTR Station and Lam Tsuen. On the third day of the Lunar New Year, the Jockey Club will arrange free shuttle buses from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM to transport citizens from Lam Tsuen to the racecourse.
