Police launch murder investigation after man dies in Tsim Sha Tsui hotel room

A murder investigation is underway following the death of a man who was found unconscious in a hotel room in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Sources suggest the victim's wife is suspected of murdering her husband. 

The incident unfolded in Ramada Hong Kong Grand hotel.

The police received a report from hotel staff at around 4 p.m., stating that a married couple had been found unconscious in their room. 

It is understood that the couple had been staying at the hotel since July of last year. 

Both reporterly had medical histories involving heart and liver disease.

Upon arrival, officers discovered empty sleeping pill bottles in the room, leading investigators to believe both of them had consumer the medication.

The husband, however, was also found with stab wounds.
