Spring Festival train tickets to many mainland cities sold out

Chinese mainland’s Spring Festival travel rush will begin on the 2nd of next month, and train tickets went on sale today. Some services for popular cities have already sold out.  

Among them, tickets departing from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station went on sale at 8 a.m. This morning. As of 10 a.m., tickets for Hong Kong West Kowloon to Nanchang on the 2nd of next month were sold out.  
For routes to Shanghai Hongqiao, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Hangzhou, only waitlist tickets remain for some services.  

Meanwhile, tickets that went on sale at 10:15 a.m. for departures from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to Guiyang, Chongqing, or Chengdu saw most services sell out within five minutes.
