U.S. President Donald Trump hosted a lunch meeting at the White House with Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize laureate María Corina Machado. Her political party is widely considered to have won 2024 elections rejected by then-President Nicolás Maduro before the United States captured him in a military raid this month. Trump is threatening to invoke the Insurrection Act in a bid to end persistent protests against federal officers sent to Minneapolis to enforce his administration's immigration crackdown. The rare move would allow Trump to deploy the military to engage in law enforcement activities. Troops from several European countries continued to arrive in Greenland on Thursday in a show of support for Denmark. Several countries - including France, Germany, the U.K., Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands - started sending symbolic numbers of troops on Wednesday. Harry Styles has announced that his long-awaited, fourth studio album will arrive this spring. Titled "Kiss All the Time.
