71 of 79 patients from Tai Po fire had been discharged from hospital

Of the 79 people injured in the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, 71 have been discharged from hospital, while the remaining hospitalised patients are in stable condition.

The Hospital Authority announced that as of Tuesday, it had provided necessary medical services to approximately 1,800 affected residents. 

The Health Bureau said a total of 87 residents received free consultations from family doctors. 45 residents used the free Chinese medicine consultation service. In addition, 27 residents received free denture fitting services. As for the mental health support hotline 18111, it has received approximately 730 calls related to the fire.
