Chris Tang went to Beijing to discuss upcoming Interpol General Assembly in HK

Secretary for Security Chris Tang travelled to Beijing for a working meeting with the Ministry of Public Security.

Tang, accompanied by Commissioner of Police Joe Chow and others, met with Vice Minister of Public Security Xu Datong in the morning to discuss the Interpol General Assembly to be held in Hong Kong at the end of this year. 

Tang will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon. During his absence, Deputy Secretary for Security Michael Cheuk Hiu-yip served as Acting Secretary for Security.
