Kwai Chung fire allegedly caused by moxibustion at home killed a 78-year-old man

A fire broke out in a residential unit in Cho Yiu Tsuen in Kwai Chung. A 78-year-old man was confirmed dead at the scene.
Police received a report at around 12:30 p.m. that a fire had broken out in a lower floor unit in Kai Him Lau in Cho Yiu Tsuen.
Authorities believe the blaze erupted after the victim burned mugwort -- a Chinese medicine therapy known as moxibustion in the bedroom.
