A group of European countries led by Britain and Germany, is discussing plans to boost their military presence in Greenland to show the U.S. that the continent is serious about Arctic security. This after President Trump said Russia and China could takeover the Danish territory if the U.S. did not take it over. Trump said: "If we don't take Greenland, Russia or China will take Greenland, and I am not going to let that happen." (Reporter: Is there any deal they can offer you?) Trump said: "Yeah, sure. I'd love to make a deal with them, it's easier. One way or the other, we're going to have Greenland." Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has warned that an American takeover of Greenland would mark the end of NATO. Greenland is the largest island in the world with a population of 57,000 but it doesn't have its own military.
