Nestle infant milk formula in HK recalled

One more batch of Nestle infant milk formula is suspected to contain a toxin.
Consumers can exchange or get a refund for the product at the company's service centres in Kowloon or Hong Kong Island starting Tuesday.
The product in question is Nestle NAN PRO 1 Formula 2HMO, which is suspected to be contaminated with Bacillus cereus. Made in Germany, the batch expires June 16 next year.
With the recent announcement of suspected contaminated batches, the total number of affected product batches has now increased to 22.
The company apologized for the incident on its website. Residents can contact the company via telephone, email, WhatsApp or online forms.
As of yesterday, the Food and Environmental Department received 18 complaints and inquries regarding the product. But no food poisoning cases have been recorded.
