Mass ice wedding held at the Harbin Ice and Snow World, 15 degrees Celsius below zero

Under the winter sky of Harbin, dozens of newlyweds embarked on a new journey in their lives, not in a church or a banquet hall, but in a fairytale world sculpted entirely from ice.

A mass ice wedding was held at 15 degrees Celsius below zero at the Harbin Ice and Snow World, a glittering city of towering ice architecture and frozen landscapes.
According to the organizer, 42 couples were selected from more than 14,000 who applied to take part in this year's ceremony. 

Over 17 million votes were cast during the selection process.
Bundled in warm jackets with wedding dresses and suits underneath, the brides and grooms marched in lines towards a stage in front of a castle built with ice blocks. 
The highlight of the event came when all 42 couples exchanged their vows and wedding rings simultaneously.
