Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that a peace agreement aimed at ending the war between Moscow and Kyiv was 90 percent ready, but the remaining 10 percent will determine the fate of peace, as well as the fate of Ukraine and Europe.
This as a Ukrainian drone strike killed 24 people and wounded at least 50 more in a Russian-occupied village in Ukraine's Kherson region.

This as Russia attacked the Odesa region of Ukraine targeting civilian infrastructure with several waves of drones, according to regional head Oleh Kiper.
In a Telegram post, Kiper wrote a two-storey residential building was damaged and a drone hit an apartment on the 17th floor of a high-rise without detonating.
In western Ukraine, several dozen Russian drones also hit infrastructure in Volyn according to the head of the regional military administration leaving more than 100,000 people without electricity.
In its daily report, the Ukrainian Air Force said it had downed or suppressed 176 of 205 drones targeting the country overnight.
This as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking in a video address filmed on the last day of 2025, said that a peace agreement aimed at ending the war between Moscow and Kyiv was 90 percent ready.
He said he told U.S. President Donald Trump that Ukraine needs strong security guarantees ratified by Congress, adding, "it was not easy at all to achieve such a change in the tone of relations between Ukraine and the United States."
Zelenskyy added the U.S. is still "capable of stopping the aggressor quickly and decisively."
