35-year-old woman found dead in Ngau Tau Kok

The body of a 35-year-old missing woman was found hidden inside a bed frame in a unit in Lok Wah South Estate in Ngau Tau Kok. 

Police are searching for her boyfriend of non-Chinese descent.

Detectives arrived at Hei Wah House in the estate this morning with tools to search for evidence.

The police cordoned off the 35th-floor apartment where the incident occurred, prohibiting others from entering the area. 

Police said they received a report on Monday night from the victim's mother that her daughter, who had suicidal tendencies, was missing. 

An investigation revealed that in the early hours of the following day, officers went to the victim's boyfriend's apartment in Hei Wah House, broke down the door, and found no power supply. Four dead cats and dogs were found inside.

 CCTV footage showed the victim had not left. A further search on Tuesday morning led to the discovery of her deceased body on the bed frame.
