Suspects linked to 1-billion yen robbery in Sheung Wan make court appearance

Two local men in connection with a robbery of one billion Japanese yen in Sheung Wan, appeared in Fanling Magistrates' Court this morning.
The two defendants, aged 28 and 36, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
The case was adjourned until March 17. The two are remanded in custody.
The incident took place last Thursday, when two employees of a Japanese firm were threatened by an assailant armed with a knife. No one was injuried.
The police have arrested 17 suspects as of now and are still searching for the stolen cash.
