It's Christmas in Hong Kong. Many locals and tourists are in Central to experience the festive atmosphere.

A bar in Lan Kwai Fong said that it would offer free drinks to attract customers during the holiday.

Before distributing gifts, Santa Claus didn't take a break. Instead, he took photos with visitors at the WinterFest in Central.

This Christmas wasn't too cold, but the Christmas decorations at the WinterFest allowed citizens to experience the winter festive season.

In the evening, a 3D projection show, combined with eight iconic buildings in Central, will create a spectacular light display.

The big Christmas tree attracted a queue of over a hundred people.

Revellers flocked to Central to immerse themselves in the festive joy, with many of them being families.

Many of them gathered in front of the giant 20-metre tall Christmas tree to take photos.

Meanwhile, Some tourists said this year's atmosphere is much livelier than last year's.

Frozen's Elsa and Anna were spotted among the crowd.

"I wish everyone could have a great Christmas and live happily," said Miss Ho.

Two Australian tourists said they had not visited Hong Kong during Christmas before.

"(In Australia) It's more of a family thing when the family gets together, then that's it. You don't have all these things in a square, or all the lights, or anything like that," said Mr Vassallo.

Meanwhile, another festive hotspot Lan Kwai Fong is also full of Christmas spirit.

A bar manager said this year he will offer free drinks to attract customers.

Affected by the Wang Fuk Court fire and external travel, he expects business this holiday season to drop by 20 to 30 percent compared to last year.
