A robot rental platform was unveiled at China's National Robot Rental Ecosystem Summit held in Shanghai this week.
The platform is designed to make renting robots as convenient as renting a car.

With its platform-based operating model, robot rentals are expected to scale rapidly, with the market projected to reach at least 10 billion yuan by next year.
The company's CEO Mr Li said: "I believe the robot rental market has so much potential. Robots are still high-priced products that are beyond the reach of most people. Rental services serve as a bridge, allowing the public to experience robots at their best."
