Flooding in northern California

Video from Redding, California TV station KRCR showed roads flooded after heavy rains in that Northern California city on Sunday. 

A statement from the National Weather Service said that local law enforcement reported continued heavy rain and flash flooding in Downtown Redding and adjacent urban areas and roadways on Sunday evening. 
It said multiple vehicles were stuck in water and that crews had carried out swift water rescues.

The statement said that at least three to six inches of rain had fallen, with rain still coming down and flash floods still occurring.
