The United States has intercepted an oil tanker off the coast of Venezuela in international waters. The move comes just days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced a blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers entering and leaving Venezuela. Footage from the U.S. Department of Defense showed U.S. forces stopping an oil tanker Saturday off the coast of Venezuela for the second time this month. The crude on the Centuries oil tanker was reportedly bought by one of manyintermediaries involved in sales to Chinese independent refiners, according to Venezuelan state oil company's PDVSA's documents. Some sanctioned tankers already are diverting away from Venezuela.
