Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visits to three Middle East countries further consolidated political mutual trust between China and these nations, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun.
Guo said "The visits to UAE, Saudi Arabia and Jordan were a great success, reaching a series of new consensuses and results in implementing the important common understanding between President Xi Jinping and the leaders of the three countries."
The spokesman said the visits further consolidate political mutual trust between China and Arab countries.
This while the three countries reiterated their commitment to the one-China principle, reaffirming Taiwan as an inalienable part of China's territory.
Guo said they also appreciated China's position on the Palestinian question and other issues.
