Monday verdict on Jimmy Lai's national security case

Jimmy Lai, founder of Next Digital, is facing a trial for violating the Hong Kong National Security Law. The verdict is scheduled for next Monday.

According to the Judiciary's website, the hearing is scheduled for 10:00 AM next Monday and is expected to take 60 minutes.

Jimmy Lai, along with three companies related to Apple Daily, is charged with violating the Hong Kong National Security Law, including conspiracy to collude with foreign or external forces and publishing seditious publications. The trial lasted 156 days, with the closing arguments completed at the end of August.
