Discounts and freebies at Brands and Products Expo

The Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo will be held at Victoria Park from this Saturday until January 5 next year.

According to the organiser, the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association, this year’s expo features more than 900 booths. They will continue to offer multiple “one-dollar” promotions.

In addition, several items — such as abalone, health supplements, and food products — will be available for just ten dollars, though there are limited daily quotas.

To promote the “silver economy,” seniors holding a Senior Citizen Card or JoyYou Card can receive at least a 5% discount.

A “Healthy Ageing Zone” is being introduced for the first time, focusing on products suitable for older adults.

Visitors from outside Hong Kong can enjoy free admission by presenting travel documents.

Standard admission is HK$10, with free entry after 7 p.m. each evening. From December 23 to 31, opening hours will be extended until 10 p.m.

The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association stated that part of the ticket revenue will be used to support residents affected by the disaster at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po and to contribute to long-term reconstruction efforts.
