The Common Crane, also known as the Millennium Crane, is a Class II protected wild animal in China. Its feathers are mostly gray.
The Ningxia Tianhewan Yellow River National Wetland Park welcomed a large number of migrating Common Cranes. This marks the 13th consecutive year that Common Cranes have been recorded overwintering in the area.
