Police's Disaster Victims Identification Unit conducted search for 3rd day

The Police's Disaster Victims Identification Unit  returned to Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po this morning for the third day of their search. They were dressed in full protective gear.

It is understood that the identification team visited Wang Cheong House, where the fire first broke out, and Wang Sun House. 

However, the structural integrity of both buildings needed to be confirmed by engineers first before the officers could enter.

The identification team members were allowed to enter Wang Cheong House for the search at 10:30 PM.

Several firefighters also arrived at the scene to investigate. Multiple fire trucks were on standby at the scene.
