Four people were killed and 10 wounded in a shooting during a family gathering at a banquet hall in Stockton, California on Saturday.
The Sheriff's office said the victims included children, adding that it may have been a targeted incident.
The shooting occurred just before 6pm inside the banquet hall, which shares a parking lot with other businesses. The suspected shooter hasn't been caught. Officials are appealing to the public for help. Detectives are still working on the motive for the shooting.
Stockton is about 64 kilometres south of the state capital Sacramento.
