Multiple mainland charities pledge donations for Tai Po fire relief

According to CCTV, the Red Cross Society of China has donated 2 million yuan to the Hong Kong Red Cross today to support emergency fire-relief efforts and humanitarian assistance. It will also provide further support as needed.

The Tencent Charity Foundation also announced this morning that it has activated an initial 10 million Hong Kong dollars donation for disaster relief.

Separately, Xiaomi founder Lei Jun said on Weibo that the Hong Kong Xiaomi Foundation is donating 10 million Hong Kong dollars to support the fire-relief and rescue efforts.
