GBA gov'ts sign agreement with General Administration of Sport of China

The governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao signed an agreement with the General Administration of Sport of China to strengthen sports cooperation and promote integrated development.
The agreement was signed last Friday, the final day of competition at the National Games, in Shenzhen by Chief Executive John Lee, Director of the General Administration of Sport of China Gao Zhidan, Guangdong Governor Meng Fanli and Chief Executive of Macao Sam Hou-fai.
The main contents of the agreement include further strengthening sports exchanges and cooperation between the mainland and Hong Kong and Macao, supporting integrated sports development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, realising resource sharing, building platforms for sports exchange, improving cooperation mechanisms, and developing branded sporting events and activities.
