In the U.S., Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a loyal supporter of President Donald Trump who since became a critic, says she is resigning in January.
Greene's resignation comes after a public fall-out with Trump, as the congresswoman criticised him for his stance on the Jeffrey Epstein files.
And Brazil's former president Jair Bolsonaro was arrested for suspicion he was plotting to avoid a 27-year prison sentence for leading a coup attempt.
The judge cited a video posted by Bolsonaro's son urging supporters to protest outside the property where his father had been staying. (Nov 22)
